Good Morning Dr. Graves,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is Ariana Rudina, and I am currently a senior at Carnegie Mellon University. On campus, I am the President of the professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi. In order to give back to the community, our chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi started a semester-long service project last year where we fundraised $1500 and gave a scholarship to a local high school senior from Baldwin High School. This is our second year providing a scholarship, and after the school's success last year, we would love to have seniors at Baldwin apply for our scholarship and win the $1500 scholarship.
More information can be found on our website. There is an online and mail-in option for the application. The deadline for the application is Friday April 19th at 11:59pm. Our scholarship intends to recognize a high performing high school senior who has demonstrated active involvement in their community. To protect the privacy of the students, we do not ask for sensitive information such as financial need or home address.
