The Homeless Children's Education Fund is offering a "Hope Through Learning Award," a financial award available to young people who have persevered against homelessness and are applying to post-secondary education programs. This award is a $2,500 award available to youth 24 and under residing in Allegheny County. The application for the award includes an application form, resume, high school transcript, essay, post-secondary program acceptance letter, and two letters of recommendation.
Applications for the 2016-17 cycle are due Wednesday, May 31, 2017.
Awardees will be announced in June 2017.
